picked up the electric guitar at his early teenage years, with the sole purpose of starting a band with his childhood friend (and now Seeker Becomes Seer’s contemporary), Lucas Donnard. Over the following decade, the pair gigged numerous shady venues, jammed in and out of sweaty basements and wrote a variety of different music together.

When studying the Music Business Program at the College of Contemporary Music in Los Angeles, Bruno met Seeker’s third co-founding piece, Rodrigo Peixoto – who, as fate would have it, came from Bruno’s hometown, Belo Horizonte, in Brazil.

After his studies, Bruno came back home to venture into independent music, opening what is now one of Brazil’s most renowned recording studios and music production companies, Sonastério. He worked with some of the biggest artists in Brazilian music, such as Milton Nascimento, Angra, Seu Jorge, Gal Costa, Skank, and worldwide industry staples such as Tony Maserati and Chris Lord-Alge.

His guitar playing has been heavily influenced by the intuitive, genre-blending styles of artists such as Daron Malakian and Adam Jones. But his musical sensibility was also greatly affected by distinct names such as the Brazilian folk singer-songwriter Zeca Baleiro, and Brazilian hardcore-punk cornerstones Dead Fish.

In late 2023, joined by Rodrigo and Lucas, the trio began exploring musical ideas together, in what would become Seeker Becomes Seer’s debut. Bruno’s process, both as producer and songwriter, has been centered around balancing novelty and experimentation with memorable, earwormy hooks and melodies.
