In this series, we invite the artist for a creative immersion in the mountains, with the intention of inspiring and encouraging new live versions of their music, recorded in the studio. The artist’s entire experience at home is documented and compiled into a mini-documentary, offering the audience a new perspective on the artist.

What do they say about us?

Sonastério has become a benchmark studio in Belo Horizonte and Brazil, not only for its marvelous architecture, which allows one to constantly contemplate the beautiful mountains that represent a typical Minas Gerais landscape, but also for its technical aspects, both in terms of equipment and acoustics and comfort of the rooms.

The studio arrived and transformed the environment of Belo Horizonte, being a place of encounters, welcoming and shelter for bands and artists of all generations, being more than just a studio to record music, and I think that idea is sensational. Thanks to this new generation of young people who arrived looking ahead and are truly a lifeline for the new generation and also for bands like Skank, who also made Sonastério their home. It’s a place where I’ve already recorded many unreleased things and I still intend to record a lot of music there.

All the experiences we’ve had with Sonastério have been pure immersion. We’ve used the studio to rehearse, compose, produce shows, do live performances, produce music, and in all of these experiences I felt very comfortable. For a moment it feels like we’re floating in space with an awesome studio, haha. It’s almost a loop of enjoyment and hard work. People say that the cloth you put in the background simulating a mountain is really cool, but it’s not a cloth, it’s real. They think that only exists abroad, but it’s right next door.
