is a Brazilian filmmaker turned vocalist, based in Cologne, Germany. An experimentalist by nature, Lucas has branched out into various creative disciplines over the years, including visual arts and screenwriting. But music has always been a constant presence in his life, ever since he started playing in bands as a teenager alongside Seeker Becomes Seer’s cofounder, Bruno Martins.

A variety of artists have influenced his vocal style and lyricism, ranging from sludge-stoner linchpins Troy Sanders and John Baizley, to Cedric Bixler-Zavala and John Garcia. Thanks to his career as a storyteller, he imbues the music of Seeker Becomes Seer with a narrative edge, and seeks inspiration from a range of avant-garde sensibilities, drawing from artists as distinct as Brazilian music luminary Tom Zé, to groups such as Amenra, Neurosis, and Black Midi.
